In honor of that... Drabble meme! :D Anybody who reads this LJ may request a drabble in a fandom I know (... lol mostly Junjou), any pairing. Even weird, non-canon ones.

To request, make sure to name the fandom, the pairing, and a short idea/blurbs/whatever the heck you can think of to inspire me. ;)

I really, really, really do plan on doing minimum act 6. I am.... not really sure about Roma act 22, as now that I've read it I agree with banane_frite that aside from the Ijuuin-cameo, it's a fairly boring chapter. No big revelations or anything amazingly funny. *sigh* CAN THE PLOT PLEASE START MOVING AGAIN?

A while back I asked people if they were maybe interested in seeing my original fic. The results were kind of positive, I guess, and since I have been writing and posting...

OH MAN. I love Toudou. I love Ijuuin-sensei. I love Misaki's roundabout ways of confessing his love XD THE ONLY THING I DON'T LOVE ARE THE NOOOOO DOOOOOOOON'T PARTS.

So, although I tend to be quiet unless I really enjoy a story, I do actually read a lot of the fanfiction posted both to junjou_fanatics and to fanfiction.net.

There are certain things that have cropped in so many, I'm wondering if there's some sort of misinformation going around or if the anime is really that different from the manga or what.

I realize that it's "just fanfiction", but when I write fanfic, I try to make it as accurate and as error-free as I can. I'm happy to change things that are pointed out to me as mistakes.

But how do others feel? Any things that always make you hit a back button? Am I completely wrong ;) I'd love to have a discussion about this.

OMG.

So, apparently while I was enjoying Obama's inauguration, somebody had the AUDACITY to put up scans of Junjou Romantica act 20. Meaning that I ended up completely missing them. Thankfully I was poking around the comm yesterday and discovered the scans again, because OMG WOW.

THIS IS A REALLY GOOD CHAPTER.

( I guess these are spoilers. SPOILERS OF AWESOME. )

If you've been following Border, the volume 1 and 2 extras have been released. I only let you know because I care! And also, because I translated them.

I translated all of Border up until now, although recently the project was handed over to somebody else because I've been slow as hell translating this semester. (Strategic Management was really killing me :X ) I have read some of the upcoming chapters (hurray for raw magazine scans!) and I think the story is getting better. More of Tamaki's backstory is revealed, and I actually like this turn of events. (I had some dislike for the Yamato backstory chapters, but mostly because Will's thought process was too... grrrr.)

For those who haven't read Border, it's basically "Weiss Kreuz" with blatantly more gay. If that's possible. (It also has a kind of "Charlie's Angels" feel.) There's actual plot and although one of the characters is completely gay and another character is completely in love/lust with him, it doesn't feel like that's the main focus. I'd venture to say that it works better than "Fake" as a mystery/drama manga that "happens to have homosexual characters" in the fact that so far, the cases they've taken on haven't been so obviously linked to the main characters. Although since the current one features somebody from Tamaki's past, it's possible that the trend may be changing.

So, finally decided to read some of the Jun'Ai Romantica novels, since I had picked them up in Japan. It was easier reading the Egoist ones because I just love Egoist that much.
